Three levels to choose from and each carries over from fall to spring – there’s no need to purchase a spring meal plan when you have funds remaining from fall. It was renamed Columbia College in 1784 following the beckner farms American Revolution, and in 1787 was placed under a private board of trustees headed by former students Alexander Hamilton and John Jay. In 1896, the campus was moved to its current location in Morningside Heights and renamed Columbia University. In July 1972, the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning established the USM Gulf Park and Keesler Air Force Base Center as an upper-level degree completion regional campus of the university.
